Members and tutors of Bree Manx youth music group busked in the Strand Shopping Centre in December and raised £85 for BallaAfrica by playing lively Manx tunes and singing Christmas carols in Manx Gaelic. BallaAfrica, a charity based at Ballakermeen High School in Douglas, is raising funds to build a community centre to feed and care for orphaned AIDS children in Pretoria West, South Africa.
