A Time to Remember
A Time to Remember is a highly successful series on Manx Radio, funded entirely by the Foundation. Veteran broadcaster David Callister has been talking to many of the Island's more senior residents about their memories of the Island in times gone by. The series has provided a fascinating fund of stories and anecdotes that have entertained thousands of listeners. With dozens of contributors, the whole project has provided a valuable source of oral history.
Earlier this year the Isle of Man Post Office produced a CD featuring ten of the interviewees, and the Post Office Yearbook for 2005 features a further ten extracts along with many fascinating photographs.
